JON BECK
Senior Pastor
Jon Beck became the Senior Pastor in August 2021. He is a graduate of The Baptist College of Florida and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served in pastoral ministry since 1995 serving in Georgia, Florida, Indiana, and Minnesota.
He and Sharon met in the 9th grade at Lamar County High School in Barnesville, Georgia. They have been married since 1989. They have three children and three grandchildren.
He loves the Word and discussing the things of God, is a proud veteran of the U.S.M.C., an avid fan of all things Georgia Bulldogs, and loves spending time with his family and especially his grandkids.

KENNY WELLS
Pastor of Worship & Administration
A native of Chatsworth, GA, Kenny received the Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies - Music Major from Boyce College (a school of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary). While in college, he served as Minister of Music at Parkwood Southern Baptist and Missions Intern & Pianist at Jesus is Lord Hispanic Baptist, both in Clarksville, IN. Immediately prior to coming to TBC, he served at Spring Place Baptist Church in his hometown of Chatsworth for over 8 years as Associate Pastor and Minister of Music and Education, where he was ordained to the gospel ministry. Kenny’s past experience in music also includes singing in the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Chorus and the Seminary Choir of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (where he also served as an occasional soloist).
Kenny’s overall desire is to glorify God in every aspect of ministry and especially to see the church built up and the Savior exalted through the singing of biblically-informed, gospel-saturated psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. He has served TBC since January of 2017.
In his spare time he enjoys reading the news, listening to podcasts, baking and rooting for the University of Georgia. He also enjoys all kinds of science-fiction books and movies, and is a big fan of both Star Trek & Star Wars. You can find out more about him at: www.kennyjwells.com.

His wife, Melissa, is a proud native of West Virginia and a sign language for Houston County Schools. They have one beautiful daughter, Lydia, who loves the colors pink and purple as well as anything with Nutella on it!

LANDON CRENSHAW
Youth Pastor
Bro. Landon serves on our pastoral staff with a special focus on guiding our middle school and high school youth in their walks with Christ. You’ll often find Landon having lunch meetings with the youth as he seeks to pour into their lives. He is married to Mallory and they have two children, Judah and Mercy.
Landon also ministers to college students through discipleship groups and fellowships. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing and rooting for the University of Georgia.
He is a wonderful expositor, and you’ll at times find Landon behind the pulpit on Sunday mornings to deliver the Word of God when our Senior Pastor is away.

LYDIA HOLLOMAN
Administrative Assistant
Lydia Holloman is the Administrative Assitant of TBC and began her employment on June 1, 1993. She has two children, April and Adam.
She serves as the face and voice of Tabernacle Baptist Church in many ways: from answering the phones to preparing our weekly prayer lists and worship guides. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening (especially flowers), birdwatching, cooking, sewing, and quilting.

LISA JOHNSON
Instrumentalist
Lisa became the church organist on July 1, 1997. She now serves es as the Church Instrumentalist, playing the piano and keyboard as she serves as accompanist for both the choir and congregational singing. She is married to Chris, and they have three children, Thomas, Nicholas & Kristina.
She enjoys helping in various church ministries, and you will often find her taking care of little ones and providing assistance for the Worship & Music Ministry of TBC. Her husband, Chris, is our audio-visual technician and employs his skills each week in making sure our technology is operated with excellence for every worship service.
