Praying for Our Church - 11/8/23

Tonight we will look at points 6-7 of the "Praying for Our Church" list.

1. Pray that the church would stand for and proclaim the Word of God. Pray that the church will have a hunger to know, accept, and live out the Word of God. – 2 Timothy 3:14-4:5

2. Pray that we will be people eager to grow deeper in our walk with the Lord. Pray for a life that is daily growing and changing into the image of Christ. – Ephesians 4:17-24

3. Pray for the leaders of our church. That they would stay close to the Lord and holy in their life. – 1 Timothy 3

4. Pray for a spirit of unity within the body. - Ephesians 4:11-16

5. Pray that we would be people of biblical reconciliation. – Matthew 5:22-24

6. Pray for a passion for lost people and their need for Jesus Christ. Pray that we would have a burden for Middle Georgia and beyond. Pray that we would be bold as we share the Gospel. – Matthew 28:18-20

7. Pray that we as the body will remain unselfish and willing to put the Kingdom of God before our personal preferences. – Philippians 2:1-4

8. Pray for a true spirit of worship each week as a congregation. Pray that our focus each week would be on the glory and greatness of God as we gather each week as the body of Christ. – Psalm 96

9. Pray that we would be people that loves and care for one another. Pray that we would develop a heart that is willing to reach out and encourage one another in the faith. - 1 Corinthians 12:12-31
