What a joyous time in the house of the Lord last week as we celebrated the resurrection of our Lord! The attendance was great and the atmosphere was heavenly. Brother Kenny, the instrumentalists, and the choir did a marvelous job of singing the truth and glory of the redemption story. I believe the gospel was sung and preached in a powerful way and the Lord was lifted up.
God willing, we return to the book of Daniel this Sunday, April 11, and we will be in Chapter 12 which is titled, “Daniel’s Promise for the End Times.” It is my plan to complete our series in Daniel by the end of April. Please be praying about what Book of the Bible we will take up next.
This Wednesday, April 7, we will be looking at “The Church,” chapter 11, considering the Elements of Worship. We will have more to say about the regulative approach to worship.
The Governor of our great state has lifted the gathering restrictions and mask requirements as of April 8. We will not have to wear masks or social distance as in the past. Of course, if you remain concerned about your own health, please wear a mask and keep your distance as you deem appropriate for you and your family. We will remove restrictions on seating starting this coming Sunday, April 11, with the exception of the left side of the worship center (as you face the platform area or opposite the sound booth), which will remain with every other row closed. If you desire to keep some distance, this area is for you. If you are not concerned about “social distancing,” then please leave that portion of the worship center open for those who are. Thank you so much for your consideration in this matter.
As always, I am looking forward to what God will do at Tabernacle this coming Sunday. Please be present with your Bibles in hand as we worship the Lord together!
Blessings, YFJS, Bro. Tom
