INTRO
vv. 1-26 we see the attributes of God
His mercy, glory, eternality, gentleness, omnipotence, omniscience, sovereignty, and uniqueness.
WE SEE THE GREATNESS OF GOD
Yet, the people have faced the judgement of God and are in captivity. Amid their circumstances, they have forgotten who God is. THEY ARE NOT SEEING GOD FOR WHO HE IS AND WHAT HE HAS DONE.
THEY HAVE LOST THEIR HOPE

Habitual attitude
My way is hidden
Right is disregarded
Where is God? Why am I here?
Doubting, Wrong perspective on life
Trials, Discipline
Loss of hope.
Alone. Abandoned
The Truths That Matter- v. 28-29
Have you not Known/Heard
Remember, Who He is and what He does!
He is the everlasting God
The Creator of the ends of the earth
He does not grow faint or weary
His understanding is unsearchable
He gives power to the faint and increases strength
The Promises that Never Change – vv. 30-31
The Faint and Weary
Youth – Over Confidence.
Young men – Mature. Strength.
Faint – failure for loss of strength
Weary – exhaustion because of hardness of life.
LIVING IN THEIR OWN MIGHT.
BUT THOSE THAT WAIT FOR THE LORD
Those that Wait
Waits for. Hopes in.
Not inactivity
Not living in our own strength
A life of Patience, Seeking, Listening, Expectation Trusting
Hope and Perseverance
Dependence of God
Willingness to allow His will to be done
Renew their strength
A changing strength. Putting on a fresh. Progressive. Maturing.
Mount up – Raised us up Ephesians 2:6
Run and not be weary – Run the race Hebrews 12:1-2
Walk and not faint – Walk in Him Colossians 2:6-7
