• Discussion: Psalms 42-42 teach us about seeking the Lord and His presence, but they do so in the context of depression and desperation. Discuss moments where you have been discouraged. How did keeping your focus on Jesus at times when you weren’t feeling very hopeful?

• Scripture: Psalm 84:11b; Lamentations 3:22-24

• Discussion: How does God’s faithfulness & goodness impact our desire to be in His presence? How should considering His faithfulness and goodness impact our praise, prayer, service, etc.?

Day 3

• Scripture: Psalm 84:1-9; 122:1

• Discussion: Does the word “glad” describe your desire to be with God’s people, singing His praises and serving Him out of love? What practical ways can you seek to enhance your love for the Lord that will translate into love for God’s house?
