This week we will dig deeper into Micah 6:8 and focus on the three requirements the Lord places on His people in that passage: do justice, love kindness, walk humbly with God.
Day 1
Scripture: Micah 6:8; Genesis 18:25
Discussion: As we see from Micah 6:8, God places a high priority on justice. Not only is it what God expects of us, but He Himself is a God who does what is just. What is the definition of justice? What do we learn of God’s justice from Genesis 18:25? How does God demonstrate what true justice looks like?

Day 2
Scripture: Micah 6:8; Psalm 118
Discussion: Not only does God prioritize justice, He expects that His people love mercy, once again a quality that He also demonstrates. Spend some time reading and discussing Psalm 118. Walk your way through the passage, and spend some time thanking God for His lovingkindness.

Day 3
Scripture: Micah 6:8; Isaiah 66:2b
Discussion: Not only does God expect us to do what is right and esteem the quality of mercifulness, He expects us to have a humble fellowship with Himself. In this way, the Lord is getting to the root of Christian living—the heart. Spend some time discussing Isaiah 66:2b and what it has to tell us about humility. How does contrition and respectful fear of God’s Word connect with the concept of humility? Pray that the Lord would help you grow in humility.
