This week’s Family Devotional Guide is taken from the “Questions for further study” section of the February 28th Sermon Notes. Feel free to discuss one question a day or divide them into our typical 3-day pattern using 2 questions per day (or however else you see fit.) We encourage you to read Psalm 50 each time and incorporate any of the songs mentioned at the bottom of this guide.
Discussion Questions
What does is mean to you that God is called the “perfection of beauty?”
Some seem to think that because God is good He will not judge people. How does God’s goodness align perfectly with His judgment?
What is the connection between the offer of sacrifices and the fact that God owns all the cattle? God says, “If I were hungry, I would not tell you.” What does this mean?
Why should you call on the name of the Lord in your day of trouble?
Who are the “wicked” that God rebukes? What warning does that provide for us?
What is your offering of praise? Why should you be concerned about your conduct?
