Day 2
Scripture: Philippians 1:6
Discussion: God never saves a person only to leave them alone. He always continues His work of making them more like Jesus—sanctification. Discuss some ways God has changed you since you became a Christian. Spend some time praying for any new believers that you know who are just beginning the Christian life, often one of the most challenging times for a Christian.

Day 3
Scripture: Philippians 1:7-8
Discussion: The apostle Paul knew persecution, and the chains that he mentioned were literal. Notice that he said the believers in Philippi were “partakers with me of grace.” What are the implications when we consider that we are partaking of the same grace as our persecuted brothers and sisters across the world? Spend some time thanking God for those who are spreading the gospel in a dangerous land. Also, consider how the Lord may be leading you to give to the Lottie Moon Christmas offering to support the work of missionaries across the world.
