Day 1
Scripture: Philippians 1:1; Psalm 100; 1 Corinthians 6:20
Discussion: Paul considered himself and Timothy (and all believers!) servants (or bondservants/slaves) of Jesus. What does all that imply? Evaluate your level of service to Jesus? Are you serving the Lord with gladness as the psalm above states?

Day 2
Scripture: Philippians 1:1; Romans 1:7
Discussion: What is a saint? What comes to your mind when you think of the word “saint?” How is Paul using this word, and how should the fact he calls all believers saints impact our service to Jesus Christ?

Day 3
Scripture: Philippians 1:2; Ephesians 2
Discussion: Grace and peace are important terms for Paul. In Ephesians 2, he fleshes out that we are saved “by grace” (Eph. 2:9). Then, in verse 14, he speaks of Christ Himself as being “our peace” and actually “making peace” (v. 15) between us and God the Father. Consider the implications of us being enemies of God and then being brought near to Him. What does that tell us of the magnitude of God’s grace and the depth of peace we now enjoy?
