• Discussion: What does it mean to “let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ?” In what ways have you behaved in a way that did not live up to the truth of the gospel? Why is it important to live in a way consistent with the gospel?

• Scripture: Philippians 1:27b-28

• Discussion: Bro. Tom stated that we must “strive together for the faith of the gospel.” In what ways is the gospel under attack today around the world?

• Scripture: Philippians 1:28-30

• Discussion: We are called to suffer for the gospel. How does it shape your view of suffering to know that it has been “granted on behalf of Christ?” Do you think we tend to consider the providential purpose God has in our suffering? Why or why not?
